QuickBooks Desktop 2016 versions are getting discontinued very soon. Just like every year, Intuit is discontinuing the older versions of QuickBooks desktop. Intuit announced that After May 31, 2019, access to add-on services will be discontinued for QuickBooks Desktop 2016 (Windows and Mac).
Note: In case, you are not using any add-on services with your QB Desktop 2016, your QB product will remain in a functional state. However, you won’t be able to get any kind of QuickBooks Support Services for your QuickBooks Desktop 2016 version. If you encounter any error or problem with your QuickBooks, you will have to fix it by yourself or call a third-party tech support service provider. Also, you won’t be able to integrate any Intuit services with your QuickBooks Desktop.
In simple terms, you will be unable to access the QuickBooks Desktop Payroll Services, Live Support Services, Online Backup facility, Banking services and more from your QuickBooks Desktop 2016 software post 31st May 2019. It also implies that we will not provide any critical updates from June 1, 2019.
